Showtime Anytime, the on demand app for the Showtime network, arrived earlier this year for Xbox 360, with promises that it was coming to Xbox One. Well that day has arrived and you can now download the Showtime Anytime app to your Xbox One console, and catch up on the latest episodes of Homeland, or watch the live east coast or west coast feeds from within the app.
Showtime Anytime joins a growing list of on demand video apps for Xbox One, including HBO Go, Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, and a number of others totaling some 40 in all. The app brings voice and gesture controls through Kinect, and allows Showtime subscribers to do more with the app:
With our app on Xbox One, we’re introducing a new feature for Showtime Anytime on the television, making it easy to marathon view series or resume programs where they left off. Additionally, you can select your favorite Showtime series, movies or boxing matches and “pin” them to their Xbox One Home screen.
Showtime Anytime is available now through the Xbox One store.
