Saints Row: The Third Remastered will be getting a free current-gen upgrade for Microsoft’s Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X consoles next week on May 25th. This means that all current and future owners of the Xbox One version of Saints Row: The Third Remastered will get this update for free without the need to buy any kind of upgrade DLC or a separate version.

This update will add 60 FPS and dynamic 4K resolution for those playing on an Xbox Series X console while Xbox Series S players will be able to select from the new Performance (60 FPS, lower visuals) and beauty (30 FPS, higher quality graphics) modes.

Both consoles will benefit from faster loading times when compared to playing on an Xbox One with this new version of Saints Row: The Third Remastered being officially described as like playing the PC edition with High settings turned on.

Saints Row: The Third Remastered launched on Xbox One almost exactly a year ago on May 20th 2020, itself a remaster of the original Saints Row: The Third which came out on Xbox 360 in 2011.

Are you excited to play Saints Row: The Third Remastered with these enhancements on your Xbox Series S or X console? Let us know in the comments below and then follow us on Pinterest and Twitter for more Xbox gaming news.
