Remaking the Legend - Halo 2: Anniversary documentary releasing October 31st

The ten year anniversary of Halo 2 is approaching, and it’s getting all the fancy treatment Microsoft can throw at it. The historic game is being remade and will be available in the Halo: The Master Chief Collection, a very special experience for Halo fans:

For the first time ever, the Master Chief’s entire story is on one console. Featuring a re-mastered Halo 2: Anniversary, along with Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 4, Halo: Nightfall (a new digital series), and access to the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta. This is the definitive Halo experience, coming November 11, 2014.

Microsoft has even documented the making of the bundle, in a documentary called Remaking the Legend. “How do you remake a title that is so beloved by fans?  How do you decide what must stay the same and what can be updated?” These are some of the questions the documentary will answer, as well as providing insight to the entire process of remaking the games.

The documentary will be available October 31st for free on the Xbox, as well as the Halo channel on November 11th, and streaming on Xbox Twitch account (here) on October 31st at 11 am PST, and November 1st and 2nd at 6pm PST.

If you are a fan of Halo, this is an exciting anniversary coming up, and if you are not too familiar with Halo, this is the perfect time to learn about the game that is responsible for where Xbox is today, and the name of your Windows Phone personal assistant.
