Dell has just announced that the beautifully redesigned XPS 13 Plus is now available for purchase. Originally revealed at CES 2022, the laptop has been completely reinvented with a new capacitive touch function, fresh new design materials, and so much more.
Pricing on the new XPS 13 Plus starts at $1,300, which is a perfect penny to pay for what looks to be a MacBook killer. Over the regular XPS 13, Dell stripped away a lot of the unnecessary on this new model, with a seamless interior that’s distraction-free. Also, this year’s XPS 13 Plus introduces a glass haptic trackpad, as well as a sleek edge-to-edge zero-lattice keyboard with large keycaps that wastes no space. Color options include Platinum and Graphite. We already mentioned the capacitive touch function row, too, which replaces the traditional function keys, and allows for more thermal headroom.
Under the hood, the new XPS 13 Plus is powered by Intel’s 28-watt 12th generation processors, which Dell claims is 2 times more power than before over the last generation. RAM includes up to 32GB, and storage of up to 2TB. Of course, you’ll still find the Infinity Edge display, with the signature 4-sided narrow bezels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Display options go all the way up to 3.5K OLED Touch if needed.
“Modern and stylish, yet approachable and efficient, simple and international are the new definition of premium. Redesigned from the ground up with more performance than ever before, the new XPS 13 Plus makes it so you can do everything you live in style,” said Dell in a press release.
