Quantum Break

At Gamescom today we’ll get exclusive looks at many games coming to the Xbox One and Windows 10. One such game is Quantum Break, the highly anticipated action game that combines a series of films with time warping gameplay. Not only did we see a lengthy segment on both gameplay and the filmography within the game, we also learned the official release date, April 5th 2016.

We’ve known for a very long time that Quantum Break was on the way but now the maker of the game, Remedy, included the April 2016 release date.

Also at the event we saw Creative Director of Remedy, Sam Lake discuss the game and introduce Shaun Ashmore who plays the protagonist Jake Joyce within the game. Lake described Quantum Break as a “cinematic story driven, action game.”

We’ll have more news from Gamescom and on Quantum Break when more details emerge. You can tune into Gamescom live at the time of this article being published. If you miss the live event, a replay will be online shortly.
