Prestigio

Prestigio is one of the hardware partners for Windows Phone, and was showcased at the Computex 2014 earlier this month. According to a new report, Prestigio’s MultiPhone 8500 Duo and MultiPhone 8400 Duo may hit Spain this summer, possibly between July and August. The news was reportedly confirmed by the company to the folks at WindowsPhoneApp.es.

The devices are said to carry a budget-friendly price tag, with the Multiphone 8500 Duo coming in at €172, and the 8400 model at €85. As the devices are so cheaper, it should come as no surprise that the handsets don’t have particularly high specifications.

The MultiPhone 8500 Duo rocks a 5-inch 720p display, with a quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM on board. It is expected to come with an 8MP camera , as well as a 2MP front-facer. Dual-SIM support is also offered by the handset that runs Windows Phone 8.1.

As for the MultiPhone 8400 Duo, it offers slightly trimmed down specifications. It comes with a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 8MP camera, and runs Windows Phone 8.1 as well.

Both devices will come in two color options: black and white. The exact availability date is not known yet, but we’ll update you as soon as it is publicized.
