Pre-order Windows 10 on USB drive from Amazon, available August 16th

The release of Windows 10 on July 29 is getting real close, and will be a free upgrade to users of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. However, not everyone qualifies for the free upgrade offer.

For users who do not have a valid copy of Windows 7 or 8.1 or prefer to do a fresh install of Windows 10, Microsoft has them covered. The good news is that Microsoft has put flash drives with Windows 10 for pre-order on Amazon. The flash drives come available in Windows 10 Home for $119 as well as the Pro edition for $199 if you prefer.

The USB sticks won’t be available until August 16, though. Nevertheless, you can still pre-order them by clicking one of the links below.

  • Pre-order the Windows 10 Home USB Stick
  • Pre-order the Windows 10 Pro USB Stick

Will you be pre-ordering a Windows 10 flash drive? Let us know what you’ll be doing in the comments below.
