Pre-order the ultra-thin Windows 10 Mobile handset Coship Moly X1 for $299.99 at Amazon

We reported on the upcoming Coship Moly X1 back at the end of December. It’s a Chinese-manufactured device with mid-range specs and is notable mainly for being very, very thin at 6.9mm. Now, we see that Amazon has the Moly X1 up for pre-order at the definitively midrange price of $299.99.

Moly X1 Amazon Pre-Order

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Coship Moly X1 looks like this:

  • 5.5-inch display with 1280 by 720 pixels resolution
  • Snapdragon 410 chipset
  • 13MP camera rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 16GB of storage expandable via a microSD card
  • 2,600 mAh battery,
  • 4G LTE connectivity

Unfortunately, the smartphone doesn’t bring support for CDMA carrier frequencies so Verizon customers are out of luck. If you’re on AT&T or T-Mobile, however, you should be covered.

Ultimately, it’s no Lumia 950, or certainly a mythical Surface Phone, but it’s another Windows 10 Mobile option. Seeing more devices being made by OEMs is a positive sign for the platform, even if we’re still limited to just one other relatively high-end Windows 10 Mobile option.
