The latest entry in the Dark Souls series, Dark Souls III, is now available for digital pre-order and pre-download on Xbox One consoles in both a Standard and Deluxe edition.

Customers who pre-order either version of Dark Souls III will also get a digital copy of the original Dark Souls game which can now also be played on the Xbox One thanks to the system’s new backwards compatibility feature that launched in 2015.

The Dark Souls III Deluxe edition comes with both the Standard edition of Dark Souls III and the original Dark Souls in addition to the game’s Season Pass which grants access to two future downloadable content packages for a discounted price. These packs add new maps, enemies, challenges, and weapon and armor sets to the game post-launch.

Here’s the official description:

Winner of gamescom award 2015 “Best RPG” and over 35 E3 2015 Awards and Nominations, DARK SOULS™ III continues to push the boundaries with the latest, ambitious chapter in the critically-acclaimed and genre-defining series.

As fires fade and the world falls into ruin, journey into a universe filled with more colossal enemies and environments. Players will be immersed into a world of epic atmosphere and darkness through faster gameplay and amplified combat intensity.

Now only embers remain… Prepare yourself once more and Embrace The Darkness!

Dark Souls III was announced during Xbox’s 2015 Gamescom presentation which also revealed other upcoming Xbox One and Windows 10 titles such as Halo Wars 2 and Killer Instinct Season 3 and gave more information on the Xbox One exclusives, Scalebound and Quantum Break (which itself just went up for pre-order last week and is being heavily promoted with a host of packages and deals).

Which upcoming Xbox One game are you looking forward to in 2016? Let us know in the comments below.
