Pouch 3.0 for Windows Phone 8.1 released, redesigned and rewritten for better performance

For those that did not know, Pouch for Windows Phone is a fantastic Pocket client that stores news articles so you can read them whenever it is convenient for you. Version 3.0 of the app has been released for Windows Phone 8.1, offering better performance due to the app’s redesign.

“With Pouch 3 for Windows Phone 8.1, you can access all your articles stored on pocket in a beautiful app. Pouch saves a local cache of all the articles in your unread list, and does it without you even realizing that it is doing it. Pouch 3 has a clean, simple, yet customizable reading view, so you can read in a format that you are comfortable with. You can also archive, favorite, delete, and tag multiple articles in your list, by entering the multi-edit mode. Or you can archive, favorite, and delete articles one at a time by tapping and holding on an article,” the app description reads.

With version 3.0, Pouch features a brand new design, new backend with cleaner experience, greatly improved offline cache, new app logo, swipe left/right for previous/next story, and custom accent color chooser. Pouch can also read articles out loud if you leave the app.

Hit the download link below to snag the updated app. Pouch runs for $1.99 and you can try the app before purchasing it.
