Popular Windows Phone 8 apps 6tag, 6snap, and Battery receive updates

The unofficial SnapChat app, 6snap, has received a bit update today, adding quite a bit of new features to the popular app. Other app updates include the third-party Instagram app ‘6tag’ and a popular battery app called ‘Battery.’

6snap received an update, bumping the version number to 2.2.0.0 and features the ability to draw on videos, add multi-line texts on videos, and support for adding text on landscape videos. The update also removes unnecessary “whitespace” when you click on a friend, as well as removes advertisements after you make a payment, without having to restart the app. The update for 6snap also fixes a problem with videos with text on stories.

6tag also received an update, bumping the version number to 3.1.1.0. No change log was provided.

The popular Battery app for Windows Phone 8 also received an update, bumping the version number to 2.3.0.0. No change log was provided.

“Battery is a nice and simple battery management app. It displays the current status of your battery, how much time you have before the phone turns off and other useful information. But that’s not all, this app also allows you to easily enable/disable various phone services. This can further extend the life of your battery, when you need it most,” the app description reads.
