Popular music streaming service Spotify is offering three months of Premium for $0.99

I have been a Spotify subscriber since 2011, when the popular music streaming service was launched in the US. The current price for the service is $9.99 per month, offering you unlimited ad-free music from an on-demand library of pretty much every song you would ever want to listen to. You can even download songs for offline listening on your smartphone, and even browse through a curated list of songs based on mood and genre.

Now, Spotify is feeling festive and is offering three months of the Premium service for $0.99. The only catch is you must be a new subscriber (I already tried going into my account and snagging the discount but I am not eligible). If $0.99 is still not enticing enough, you can listen to Spotify using the free ad-supported service too.

Head over to the VIA link below to check out the offer. For those of you in the UK, Spotify is offering a different deal where you can purchase one month of Premium service for for £9.99, and get 2 months for free. With Premium, you can sync music to three devices for offline listening. Streaming is limited to one device at a time, however.

The Spotify app for Windows Phone is relatively decent too, although the app hasn’t been updated since October. The app has been receiving constant updates on Android, however.
