Popular game Secrets and Treasure shutting down mid-January, your last chance to download it is now

Secrets and Treasure, a game title which Microsoft launched on Windows Phone and Windows 8 last year, is shutting down, the company noted on its Facebook page. The company says that the title will become unavailable to download or re-download starting mid-January.

“Adventurers, we hope you’re enjoying the game so far! We have some news that we need to share with you: the game servers will be shutting down in mid-January. After this date the game will no longer be available to download,” the announcement reads.

The good news, however, is that those who have already downloaded the game, or will do in the next couple of days before it becomes unavailable will be able to continue enjoying the title and unlock new Xbox Live achievements even when it gets delisted from the Store. The bad news, though, is that one won’t be able to make any in-app purchases after the deadline.

For those unaware, Secrets and Treasure is a puzzle game. The company released it on the said platforms in October, and offered an update to the game a month later, which added 75 new levels. But that was the last update the company rolled out for it.
