Surface RT with Windows RT 8.1

Microsoft is set to announce a new version of its Surface lineup tomorrow, much like Apple does with the iPad. The new devices are set to bump up internal specs, as well as new kickstand functionality and accessory support.

For those who already own either a Surface or Surface Pro, are you planning to upgrade? It has been said that the new versions of the device will look pretty much identical to the current version, which could put some people off. But, with this upgrade, it’s what’s on the inside that counts.

I doubt we’ll see Microsoft fans lining up outside stores on day of release much like Apple fans seem to do, we assume the new Surface will be for those who are yet to join the Surface lineup, or for those tech enthusiasts who must have the latest gadgets. Take our poll below and sound off in the comments!
