Poll: What makes an operating system successful?

Measuring success is always difficult. For an operating systems such as Windows 10, a long list of things could be used to indicate success. Today’s news of Windows 10 reaching 75 million installations is a strong contender, but others would point towards bugs and stability issues that until fixed make Windows 10 unsuccessful. This week’s poll we’re asking “what makes an operating system successful?” Vote in our poll below and tune into the WinBeta Podcast this weekend to hear us discuss the results.

As usual, many of these options are correct in some way. Also, there are far more than four things that factor into success. We chose these four due to how much they are discussed by fans and the media. We want to see which one of these is the highest priority to our readers.
