Ubisoft is letting Xbox One owners play their new video game, Watchdogs 2, for free over a one week period starting on January 24th.

There’s a catch though. While gamers are encouraged to start a game during that week, once they start, they can only play for three hours. The full game will be unlocked though but it’s unlikely most users will experience all of its content in that short a period of time. All progress will carry over to any purchased copy of the game, should it ever be bought in the future.

Watchdogs 2 is the sequel to the original Watchdogs which was also released on Xbox One. Both are open-world video games that focus heavily on technology and hacking to interact with and affect the city around them.

Have you played Watchdogs 2 on Xbox One yet? Do you think it’s better than the original? Let us know in the comments below.
