Pictastic app for Windows Phone receives update, now supports Instagram direct messages

Pictastic claims to be the “most complete Instagram experience on Windows Phone” and today the app adds a new feature – Instagram direct message support. This app is a great alternative to the official Instagram Beta app and the third-party 6tag app.

“Take a picture, choose a filter to transform its look and feel, then post to Instagram. Or quickly combine multiple photos into a beautiful framed picture. If you’re at your favorite night spot or cafe, tag the photo with a location before sending it off. If the photo is a bit too private to be shared widely, select a few people from your friend list and send them a direct message,” the app description reads.

The app features the ability to see your friend’s Instagram photos and their comments in a photo stream – as well as comment and like their photos. There is also support for sharing to popular social networks such as Facebook, Flickr, Tumblr, Pinterest, and Twitter.

Pictastic was just bumped to version 3.4.0.0 and adds Instagram direct messages support. Hit the download link below to snag the app. Let us know if you like the app!
