Phriz.be apps for Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8 let you share files and media between devices

Looking for a cool app for both Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8 that lets you quickly and easily share photos and files between your device? Check out Phriz.be, which lets you achieve just that in a nice interface! The app is also free for both platforms.

“Now available on Windows and Windows Phone, Phriz.be gives you a quick and easy way to share photos and documents between devices. Use the app to “find” other devices nearby, pick a target device and boom – you can send your stuff there. Concerned about security? Just use the “Privacy” button to hide yourself from public view,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post today.

These two apps allow you to easily share files and pictures – and all you have to do is click, play, and share. The Windows Phone version of the app, which was recently updated to 1.0.2.1, features notifications, the ability to share with friends or groups, a faster and more personalized sharing feature, and much more.

“phriz.be is a mobile sharing platform that allows you to discover other users nearby and share photos, including Hi-Res photos taken with your Nokia Lumia 1020. With phriz.be you can share seamlessly with users on all major platforms, as well as email addresses – It’s as Simple as Click. Pick. Share. phriz.be allows you to easily exchange your content with one friend or large groups. You can access your files at anytime with the activity stream, and even hide your location using the privacy feature in your profile,” the WP8 app description reads.

The app for Windows 8.1 was also recently updated, featuring support for Windows 8.1, along with the addition of photo thumbnails in the activity stream, full screen photo viewer with zoom, ability to set photos to the Lock screen, and improved Share photo integration.
