The leaked 'People Sense' app is now out for Windows Phone, released as SquadWatch

We reported earlier this month about a new location-based sharing app, ‘People Sense’, coming soon too the Windows Phone platform. While it was widely believed to be a replacement for the Rooms feature on Windows 10, it seems Microsoft wanted to get it in people’s hands as soon as possible. The app available to download now!

Although, the app no longer using the code name People Sense, you can now find the app in the Windows Phone store under SquadWatch, which as it turns out was developed under the Microsoft Garage program. As a bit of a refresher, SquadWatch is like Apple’s Find My Friends app but with a bit more integration. The app provides real-time location info for people you follow, detailed directions to contacts’ locations, in addition calling and messaging features also baked into the app.

You can get your hands on SquadWatch app now by heading over to the download link below. Let us know what you think of the app in the comments below.

Thanks for all the tips!
