Outlook Preview and OneDrive apps for Android receive bug fixes in latest update

Microsoft has rolled out an update to the Outlook Preview and OneDrive apps for Android. These updates are available right now via Google Play.

The update for Outlook Preview, which was made available to Android devices not too long ago, has been bumped to version 1.0.6. The update features improved file handling, including a proper download notification. The update also addresses numerous bugs.

“The official Microsoft Outlook app for Android phones and tablets. Outlook is a free email app that helps you get more done from anywhere with one unified view of your email, calendar, contacts, and attachments. Outlook automatically surfaces your most important messages – across all your email accounts. Swipe to quickly delete, archive, or schedule messages you want to handle later. Easily view your calendar, share available times, and schedule meetings. And attach files from your email, OneDrive, or Dropbox with just a few taps,” the app description reads.

OneDrive, on the other hand, was bumped to version 2.9.6. The update now allows searches to include file contents and text within photos, as well as various visual updates throughout the app.

“OneDrive is the one place for everything in your work and personal life. It gives you free online storage for all your personal files so you can get to them from your Android device, computer (PC or Mac), and any other devices you use. With OneDrive for Business, you also get storage for your work files so you can share and collaborate on them with other people at your work or school. The OneDrive app for Android lets you easily work with your personal and work files when you’re on the go,” the app description reads.

You can grab both apps via the download links below, unless you have already automatically updated them via Google Play!
