Outlook for Android added a new feature to make it easier to find work colleagues email address by allowing Exchange and Office 365 users to search the company’s address book by searching directly from the people tab. Outlook for Android runs on Android 4.0 and up and can sync email, contacts, calendar, and files from Office 365, Exchange Online, Exchange Server (2007, 2010, 2013), Outlook.com (including Hotmail, Live, and MSN), Gmail, iCloud, and Yahoo Mail.

Check out this video about Outlook on Android.

Outlook on Android also allows users to connect to their respective cloud service option; OneDrive, Dropbox, iCloud, Google Drive & Box. Here’s a list of other features that Outlook on Android has:

  • Great inbox management where your most important messages appear first, smart filters, and swipe gestures.
  • Access to your personal or company calendar and files directly from your inbox.
  • Word, Excel, and PowerPoint integration for the ability to view and edit documents and files using your Android phone or tablet.

Microsoft also has Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint apps for Android available for download. With Outlook for Android, Microsoft gives users all the tools they need to edit files, make calendar appointments, send emails, and be productive on the go.

Based on the mostly positive reviews in the Google Play Store, Outlook for Android is a good choice for an all-in-one email app. Check out these other Microsoft apps for Android and let us know if you use Outlook for Android in the comments section below.
