Amazon UK cancels orders for “incorrectly” priced Xbox One Elite Controllers

Orders of highly discounted Xbox One Elite Wireless Controllers are being cancelled by Amazon UK

The Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller is coming out soon and will allow gamers to experience highly customizable precision while playing their favorite games. What’s not precise, however, is the pricing controls by Amazon UK for selling those controllers. A pricing error has now led to many canceled orders (via Windows Central).

Those who ordered the premier controller for the too good to be true price of £75.72 rather than the retail price of £119.99 are receiving emails stating that their orders have been canceled. Amazon’s emails about the cancelation of orders state “the price was displayed incorrectly.”

This is sad news for gamers who eagerly pre-ordered the Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller hoping to receive Microsoft’s latest Xbox gadget for a highly discounted rate.

The new controller does warrant a higher price tag however. The complete specifications of the controller include stainless steel thumbstick shafts, rubberized grips, a customizable setup, and much more. For what it’s worth, it’s also extremely attractive. While it doesn’t replace the current Xbox One controller, it provides a high end alternative for hardcore gamers.
