Microsoft recently released an update to the OneNote app for Windows 8 and Windows RT which brought along pen and ink improvements, but it was lacking one sought-after feature. Today, Microsoft has rolled out another update for the app and has added the ability to draw using your finger!

\

“Many of our users expressed the need to be able to draw on the touch devices that do not ship with a pen. With this update to OneNote for Windows Store, now you can draw with your finger!” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.

\

All you have to do is install the update, launch the app, tap the screen, open the radial menu, and select Draw. In the Draw mode, users can choose pen colors, change the thickness of the brush, and even store a favorite pen. Once you are done, just open the radial menu and exit Draw.

\

This feature is great for those who don’t have a pen or are tired of using the pen and simply want to use those good old reliable fingers. Hit the Windows Store to update your app or download it from the link below.
