OneDrive for Windows Phone updated with new download progress page and more

Microsoft has rolled out an update to the OneDrive app for Windows Phone 8, adding a few new improvements and fixes to the app. If you happen to be a regular user of OneDrive, this is a must-have app for your Windows Phone handset.

“OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive) is the one place for everything in your life. Easily store and share photos, videos, documents, and more. When you upload photos or videos from your Windows Phone to OneDrive, you can get to them when you’re on your PC, Mac, tablet, or phone. With OneDrive for Windows Phone, you can easily get to, manage, and share files on the go,” the app description reads.

In the latest update, which bumps the version number to 4.2.0.0, OneDrive now features the ability to download files to your phone and pick where to save them. There is also a new progress page for uploading and downloading. The update also features improvements to picking contacts when you share files, as well as the usual bug fixes and performance improvements.

Grab the updated app via the download link below.
