Official TikTok app launches for Windows devices in the Microsoft Store – onmsft.com

Even though the Android TikTok app will be available on Windows devices with the launch of Windows 11 and the rollout of support for Android apps, TikTok has still gone ahead and launched an official app in the Microsoft Store app store for current Windows 10 users.

Much like the official Instagram and Twitter Windows apps, the new TikTok one is also essentially the web version of the social network rather than a unique app experience built from the group up but it’s still pretty good.

As expected, users can browse their For You and Following feeds and watch Live broadcasts within the TikTok app. Of particular note is the ability to upload videos and even schedule them for future publication at a specific time and date, a feature that many Windows users will likely find useful.

Here’s the official description for the Windows TikTok app:

TikTok is THE destination for mobile videos. On TikTok, short-form videos are exciting, spontaneous, and genuine. Whether you’re a sports fanatic, a pet enthusiast, or just looking for a laugh, there’s something for everyone on TikTok. All you have to do is watch, engage with what you like, skip what you don’t, and you’ll find an endless stream of short videos that feel personalized just for you. From your morning coffee to your afternoon errands, TikTok has the videos that are guaranteed to make your day.

We make it easy for you to discover and create your own original videos by providing easy-to-use tools to view and capture your daily moments. Take your videos to the next level with special effects, filters, music, and more.
