Official Sochi 2014 results application now available, lets you follow the Winter Olympics – onmsft.com

Sochi 2014 results

Not too long ago, the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee launched the official Sochi 2014 Guide application for those who are planning to travel to the Russian city to witness the Winter Olympics games live. If you’re not visiting Russia, but want to get every bit of the Olympics and its results for various sporting events, the Committee has released a Results application for Windows Phone.

“The Sochi 2014 Winter Games are in your hands. The official Sochi 2014 Results application provides full details of the sports program of the XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games. Sochi 2014 Results is your personal media center for the Sochi 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games,”  the app description reads.

The 2014 Winter Olympic games will kick off in Sochi,  Russia on February 6th and will last until February 23rd. Using the new application, users can find out complete details about all of the sporting events taking place at the games, and even find out who turns out victorious in them, scoring a gold, silver or bronze medal for their countries. Users can follow their country, get information about their favorite athletes, get access to schedules, results of the competition and more. Here’s what you can expect after installing the official Sochi 2014 Results app for Windows Phone:

  • Follow the medal races in real time. 
  • Get quick and easy access to the competition schedule and results. 
  • Choose the country you’re supporting, compile your information ticker of selected topics and be alerted with the latest news of your favorite athletes!
