The official Facebook for Windows Phone app picks up a minor update

The official Facebook app for Windows Phone has picked up an update, bumping it to version 8.3.3. For those of you who are hoping for new features, you’ll be disappointed to know that it’s just a minor update, and introduces a number of unspecified performance improvements and bug fixes.

Facebook for Windows Phone v5 has been completely overhauled, with faster performance, a new user interface, improved navigation, support for multiple resolutions and tile sizes, and more.

Bug fixes are good, but the Facebook app for Windows Phone lacks behind, in terms of features on other operating systems — it should be on par with them. There’s a Facebook Beta app available in the Windows Phone store as well, but it didn’t receive any updates lately.

Head over to the Windows Phone store, and grab the updated Facebook app.
