Two new driver updates have rolled out for those of you who are on Windows 8.1 and are looking for the latest and greatest in graphic performance. Both AMD and Nvidia released drivers for Windows 8.1 and are recommended drivers for the operating system.

Nvidia has rolled out the GeForce 331.65 WHQL drivers for Windows 8.1, which offer the “best possible gaming experience” in Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty Ghosts. Nvidia also stated that these drivers will also provide performance enhancements in various games. In fact, this driver increases performance up to 19% compared to the previously released 327.23 WHQL drivers.

“In addition, the new 331.65 Game Ready driver is bundled with GeForce Experience v1.7 which includes support for two highly-anticipated new technologies. NVIDIA GameStream provides end users with the ability to stream PC games from their GeForce GTX-equipped PC directly to a SHIELD device. This update also introduces the Beta version of GeForce ShadowPlay, an innovated new game capture tool with exceptional features and performance,” Nvidia stated.

AMD, on the other hand, has rolled out a new set of beta drivers. The Catalyst 13.11 Beta 6 drivers offers performance improvements in various games such as Batman: Arkham Origins, Total War: Rome 2, Battlefield 3, and more. This driver set also adds support for the newly released AMD Radeon R9 290X and AMD Radeon R9 290 graphics cards.

Grab the driver downloads below and let us know if you notice a performance improvement in Windows 8.1, especially when viewing media or playing a game.
