Nokia XL comes to APAC and IMEA regions

Sitting at the top of the Nokia X range, the Nokia XL has proved popular with users. Running a forked version of Android and packing a 5 inch screen, the device is an entry level model that has a low price tag to match. Nokia has just announced that the handset is now available in APAC and IMEA regions.

Bearing in mind the acquisition of Nokia’s handset arm by Microsoft, it should come as no surprise that Microsoft app and services are pushed to the fore. OneDrive and Skype are preloaded, and even though this is an Android device, it has been customized with a tiled look.

The Nokia XL costs just €109, but you get quite a lot for your money:

  • Five-inch capacitive touch screen
  • 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Dual Core Processor
  • 768MB RAM
  • 5MP autofocus camera with flash
  • 2MP front-facing camera
  • Expandable up to 32GB external memory
  • 2000 mAH battery
  • Satellite GPS
  • Accelerometer
