Nokia Lumia 1020

Nokia Lumia 1020 is touted as the smartphone with the best camera by reviewers, bloggers and photographers alike. Recently, the Finnish company has begun a new “Wedding Chapter” campaign in Pakistan, where people get the chance of having their wedding covered by a professional photographer using a Nokia Lumia 1020, and best of all, it’s free.

Nokia Pakistan wants users to fill out a simple form on their Facebook page with some information, including their name, email address, phone number and details of the event. If you’re lucky enough, you can get a chance to have your wedding shot with a Nokia Lumia 1020. However, there are some rules for this offer:

“Based on availability one wedding would be selected and covered by a professional photographer using a Nokia Lumia 1020. The rights of final decision are vested with Nokia Pakistan and its marketing team and the final decision would not be challengeable. There is no limit to the amount of pictures that would be taken at the venue
The photographer covering the event with the Lumia can only be designated by Nokia Pakistan. All the pictures taken at the event would be handed over to the participant”.

Not too long ago Joy Marie Smallwood used a Nokia Lumia 1020 to shoot an entire wedding in Mexico, and described those photos to be comparable to ones he would have taken using his DSLR camera. “The quality of the photos we took at the Cabo wedding using the Lumia 1020 were crisp with a great depth of colour and totally exceeded our expectations. The 41-megapixel sensor is pretty outstanding for a camera phone,” said Joy Marie.

In case you don’t recall, the Nokia Lumia 1020 comes with an excellent 41 megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization, Carl Zeiss Optics and PureView technology. The handset received the Lumia Black update recently as well, which brings RAW support within the updated Nokia Camera application, making it even more popular among photography enthusiasts.
