Nokia outs comical 'Tis the Season' video, featuring Lumia 1020

Featuring may be a strong word, but the Nokia Lumia 1020, and its amazing 41 MP camera, make a couple of appearances in the new holiday video released by the Finnish handset maker. Admittedly, this is more about fun and amusement than real advertising. It’s good to see Nokia taking a break and giving its fans, and non-fans alike, a smile for the holiday season.

The two-and-a-half minute video, posted by NokiaUS, features Christmas carolers — something you don’t see much of these days, as Nokia points out at the start. The small group may sound pretty good, but their timing is just a bit off, as you’ll see when you watch the flick.

The results, though, are spot-on, and it should bring a chuckle from just about everyone, though you likely wouldn’t want to be in the place of these homeowners. We’ve said more than enough already, so sit back and enjoy the video, without further spoilers. Oh, and if you’re in the UK, don’t forget you can get the Lumia 1020, or one of a few other Nokia handsets, with a £20 app voucher if you act within the next month — an additional holiday present from the company.
