Lumia 830

Not too long ago, Lumia 830 went on sale in Canada through Rogers and Fido, but they aren’t the only ones who will offer the the handset. Recently, TELUS also introduced the mid-range flagship device, the Lumia 830, which is available for free, but you have to get yourself in a two-year commitment with the carrier. If you don’t prefer to sign a two-year agreement, you can get the handset outright for $500. The price is higher than Rogers, who is offering the same device for $399.99 off-contract

As a quick recap, the handset comes with a 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels, and runs Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Demin pre-installed out of the box. There’s a quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with microSD card support, 10MP camera with optical image stabilization and PureView Technology, and a 2,200 mAh battery to make sure there’s enough juice for the handset.

We’ve already done a quick unboxing of the Lumia 830, and are working to get the review up as soon as possible.
