Nokia Lumia 830 available in Canada via Rodgers, $449.99 off-contract

Update: It is now running for $399.99 off-contract.

The Nokia Lumia 830 is now available in Canada via Rogers. It is not yet widely available, so be patient if you can’t grab one yourself just yet.

The Lumia 830 is running Windows Phone 8.1 on a Snapdragon 400 Quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and 1GB RAM. It has a 5 inch 1280 x 720 720HD display and a 10 MP PureView camera with Zeiss optics. It comes with 16GB built-in memory that is expandable to 128GB via a MicroSD card.

The phone is available at a relatively reasonable $449.99 off-contract and will be available at Rogers and Fido tomorrow, while Bell, TELUS, and SaskTel customers will have to wait until next week. For perspective on the price, Rogers sells the now-year old Nexus 5 for $499.99 off-contract.

We’ll have a in-depth hands-on review of the Lumia 830 in a few days, so stay tuned!
