Lumia 1520

We know that Nokia is working on a rather large 6-inch Windows Phone device codenamed Bandit, with rumors claiming the device will be named the Lumia 1520. It has also been rumored that the Nokia Lumia 1520 is set to be unveiled at an event later this month. The device will run Windows Phone GDR3, with support for 1080p screens and today our first press shot of the device has leaked.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 will be the first device that supports a 1080p screen on Windows Phone. While not much else is known about the device, we can see from the shot above that the device will indeed be available in Yellow, and we also expect the device to be available in a vast range of other colors too.

We recently saw shots of the device next to a Lumia 920, and then screenshots of the Lumia 1520’s Start Screen. As the device has a screen so big, the Start Screen has been improved to expand across such a large area of space, meaning there will be more apps on the screen at one time with more tile rows.
