It looks like Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel may not get a new build this week. A couple of minutes ago, the Windows Insider team explained on Twitter that they have delayed today’s flight after discovering a bug in the release candidate build. The good news is that the team is still looking to release a newer build with bug fixes later this week, though this flight is still “unlikely.”
Hey Folks – We found a bug in our candidate build for the Dev Channel – so no flight today. We are looking at options for a newer build w/fixes later in the week, so never say never, but unlikely to get a new build this week. Tx ^AL pic.twitter.com/LWau4yTAaJ

The Windows Insider team has been releasing new builds on the Dev channel almost every week since July, and last week’s build 20190 brought a new first run experience and more granular Graphics Settings. New builds from the Dev Channel are still not being labeled “21H1,” as the Windows Insider team is now using this channel to test new features that may or may not end up in the next feature update coming after Windows 10 20H2 later this year.
We’ll let you know if we hear any good news about a new Dev channel build later this week, though it’s fine for the Windows Insider team to take its time to fix bugs. We can all wait another week, right?
