Three new video games were released on the Xbox One today; Maldita Castilla EX – Cursed Castile, Ninja Pizza Girl, and Cast of the Seven Godsends – Redux. All three can now be bought, downloaded, and played on the console in most Xbox One regions.
Maldita Castilla EX – Cursed Castile is currently selling with a 10% discount. It’s an action and adventure title with eight stages, 19 bosses, over 48 different types of enemies, four different endings, and 15 Xbox Achievements to unlock.
Here’s the official game description: The tears of a young witch have been turned by a demon into a key that opens up a gateway for the evil in this world. The King Alfonso VI of León has gathered his loyal knights to get to Tolomera del Rey and finish the nightmare using the power of the Witch’s tears. Banish the zombies and demons that entered the Kingdom of Castile with Don Ramiro, the loyal King’s Knight, and his friends. For that, you will use a different range of weapons to defeat your enemies through the cursed lands of Tolomera, in a pure classic arcade action style.
Cast of the Seven Godsends – Redux is from Raven Travel Studios an old school platformer with two-button controls, over 50 different enemies, and four difficulty levels. The game currently has a free demo available in the store for anyone curious to see what the game is like before buying.
Here’s the official description: The evil emperor Zaraaima has kidnapped the infant heir to the land of Dareca. King Kandar must call upon the aid of the seven gods of Dareca as he traverses the six worlds of his kingdom in a bid to save his son. He must face the emperor’s hordes as he battles through dark woods, slimy swamps, sinister mills, infernal volcanos, snowy mountains, golden cities and demonic castles. Each world is guarded by level bosses each sworn to bring about the king’s swift demise. To help him in his quest King Kandar can invoke god-given armour, wield different weapons and cast fanatical spells. Can the King save his son and his kingdom or will Dareca fall into the evil emperor’s grasp?
Ninja Pizza Girl is also a platformer but features a more stylised graphics engine that mixes 3D models with the 2D plane.
Here’s the official description: In the not-too-distant future, traffic is so bad there is only one way of delivering a pizza across town in thirty minutes or less… underpaid teenage ninjas!
Ninja Pizza Girl is a supreme platformer with a deep-dish message, featuring an old-school action platformer vibe, a dedicated speedrun mode, and comic cutscenes hand drawn by an authentic teenage girl. Its deeply-woven story follows Gemma, a sixteen-year-old girl working as a pizza delivery ninja for her father’s independent Pizzeria. For Family. For Honour. For Pizza.
