NFL's new Now app arrives on another platform, this time Windows 8.1

It seems this time of year the NFL comes into the forefront, at least for sports fans around the US. The final pre-season game is coming up and Madden 15 has just hit the market, available for Xbox One. But, just in time for the start of regular season, which traditionally begins after Labor Day, the is a new Windows app as well.

The leagues has been busy  preparing its latest offering — the NFL Now app, which recently debuted on both Roku and Amazon Fire TV platforms. Now (pun?) it is rolling out for computers as well, coming in the form of a Windows 8.1 app available in Microsoft’s Windows Store.

The NFL Now app brings access to a ton of video from the sport’s massive library of content, but users will get more than just archived footage. Original content will also be provided, as well as real-time highlights and a personalized stream based on your team of choice.

“This official NFL product combines all of the intense football you love with a smart, easy-to-use interface. NFL Now learns what you like and delivers a non-stop stream of customized NFL content gathered just for you. Don’t waste another minute of this season! Get more of the NFL you love with NFL Now”, the description reads.

Access to the massive vault of videos is completely free, but some feature will require a small monthly subscription. You can grab it right away from the download link posted below.
