NFL Showdown: Football Manager, the sports-management sim from Zynga, is now available for download on both the Windows Phone store and for Windows 8.1 Players are tasked with the creation of their very own NFL football team to compete in daily showdowns.
Users can compete against one another in head-to-head matchups, allowing matches between friends as well as other NFL football fans. Based on Fantasy Football stats, players are updated according to their latest real-time performance, allowing for player development and evolution throughout the season. Through auctions and training, players can build their own unique team from the ground up and create winning strategies to see them through to the Superbowl.
Taking fantasy football and adding an extra twist of technological fun, players can begin instantly and take a short season, without any commitments to playing in the long term. With more and more high profile releases making their way to Windows Phone and Windows 8.1, hopefully the momentum will continue.
