NextiraOne’s June Seminars cut through the hype of Cloud to help develop effective Data Centre strategy

Chelsea FC and Lotus Renault GP are the venues for Seminars on “Moving beyond the Cloud hype: Dynamic Data Centres for the Agile Organisation” and “Designing Next Generation Data Centres”

Lichfield, 31 May, 2011 – A series of four seminars are to be held in June by NextiraOne, Europe’s leading expert in communications services, aimed at dispelling the myth and hype surrounding the Cloud and giving practical advice on Data Centre planning, implementation and operation.

Run by the company’s Data Centre and Unified Building Services Divisions and supported by NextiraOne partners Cisco, NetApp, VMware and APC, the seminars will be held on four dates in June:

Thu 9 June
Designing Next Generation Data Centres
APC by Schneider Electric HQ, Reading

Wed 15 June
Dynamic Data Centres for the Agile Organisation
Chelsea Football Club, Fulham, London

Thur 16 June
Dynamic Data Centres for the Agile Organisation
Lotus Renault GP, Chipping Norton, Oxon

Thur 23 June
Designing Next Generation Data Centres
Cisco Offices Didsbury

On June 15th and 16th NextiraOne will host two seminars entitled “Moving Beyond the Cloud Hype: Dynamic Data Centres for the Agile Organisation.” These are designed to dispel the myth of the cloud and examine which model is best for an organisation. Experts from Cisco, NetApp, VMware and NextiraOne will discuss how Data Centres are now being transformed with Unified Service Orientated Infrastructure, delivering real business benefit and Return on Investment.

The “Designing Next Generation Data Centres” seminars, to be held on June 9th and 23rd, will include a unique live simulation to design and model ‘the Data Centre of the Future.’ Participants will be able to watch the effects the latest technologies have on energy consumption and how to optimise Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE).
