While the Windows Phone crowd is waiting for the HP Elite x3 to finally start shipping to consumers, it seems that another OEM has started selling a new Windows 10 Mobile phablet in Spain (via Windows Central). The WP10, a 6.98-inch phablet manufactured by Chinese manufacturer Cube is currently on sale for €270,06 on the Spanish AliExpress website.
The Cube WP10 seems a nicely designed phablet, but its specs seems pretty low-end. Here are the full details according to the store listing:
- 6.98-inch IPS screen with 1280×720 resolution
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor running at 1.3GHz
- 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage with microSD slot for up to 128GB of additional storage
- 5MP rear camera with auto-focus, 2MP Front camera
- Dual-SIM support
- 187.7mm x 97.7mm x 7,6mm, 248g
- 2850 mAh battery
Overall, the Cube WP10 seems quite expensive (about $305) for what it is: it features the same processor as the much cheaper Lumia 550, though the 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage are a nice addition. It’s not clear yet if the handset could become available to purchase in other countries, but we’ll let us know if we learn anything new.
