New Surface 3 commercial promotes the device as the perfect student companion

Just over a month left till Microsoft’s Surface 3 finally goes on sale. Since the announcement last week, Microsoft has released three commercials featuring the Atom-powered Surface, and now a fourth has been uploaded.

While the first three commercials focused on the device itself and the pen, this fourth commercial is focused on education, promoting the device as the perfect companion for teachers and students alike. The video showcases how every aspect of the device can be used in a classroom environment. We see students drawing and jotting down notes with the Surface Pen, plugging in USB devices like flash drives and USB microscopes, and carrying the device around with ease just as they would a book.

We’ve already witnessed how successful Microsoft services and products like OneNote and the Surface Pro 3 have been for educators and students, and with the Surface 3’s lower entry price point, the device is instantly more accessible, all without compromising on much of the functionality of the Surface Pro 3. We bet this isn’t going to be the last we’ll see of the Surface 3 in education, so stay tuned for more.
