Lumia 920

Apple may have unveiled its new operating system, iOS7, during WWDC today, but that’s not stopping Microsoft from releasing a new video advertisement showcasing the Windows Phone powered Nokia Lumia 920. Coincidence?

The new video showcases the Nokia Lumia 920 in all its glory. Microsoft touts the device as the “smartphone of the year” and even compares it to the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3. On the other side of the fence, Apple unveiled its iOS 7 operating system, which many of you have to admit that the “minimalistic” design approach Apple took was simply a response to the popularity of the minimalistic Windows Phone platform.

For those that don’t know, the Nokia Lumia 920 features a PureVideo camera technology that has Optical Image Stabilization and a Carl Zeiss lens. This feature provides stunning pictures and videos, even if your hands are shaky. “And with the new Windows Phone, you can point, shoot, and share in an instant. Because your Windows Phone has an easy-to-use, dedicated camera button that lets you take pictures on the spot, even when your phone is locked. Plus, no phone lets you posts pictures faster to Facebook because you don’t need to jump from your camera to an app to share,” the video description adds. Check out the video below.
