New multimedia-focused application in Office 15?

Looks like we might be seeing a new application in Microsoft’s upcoming productivity suite, Office 15. Screenshots were leaked from an internal milestone build of Office 15 showcasing a multimedia-focused application.

As ZDNet reports, a few screenshots were leaked showcasing a new multimedia-focused application or possibly a new feature codenamed “Moorea” and the tagline “everything you need in one place.”

Microsoft mentioned a while back that the company is planning on adding a new application to the Office 15 productivity suite. Rumors were circulating that it could be an image or video editing application. This application seems to allow users to insert various kinds of multimedia content in a common place. As ZDNet puts it, its “kind of like a OneNote focused around multimedia content.”

There is also talk that this new application is based on Canvas for OneNote. You be the judge.
