New mode 25th anniversary star club collection added to microsoft solitaire collection for free

The free Microsoft Solitaire Collection has updated with a completely new mode based on the Microsoft Solitaire Internal Tournament that took place back in May, called The 25th Anniversary Tournament Star Club Collection. This new mode features a three collections of challenges based on the tournament, each being unlockable with stars earned by playing previous matches.

The 25th Anniversary Tournament is the latest in new themed games in the Star Club Collection section of Microsoft Solitaire Collection, which itself was added last year in an update that added more content such as additional Xbox Achievements and a solitaire game based on the popular video game, Fable.

Microsoft Solitaire Collection is one of many Microsoft-designed self-proclaimed, “casual games” for Windows devices. Similar games include Microsoft Mahjong, Microsoft Sudoku and Microsoft Jigsaw. Do you play any of these casual Microsoft games on your Windows device? Share your recommendations in the comments below. Personally, I’m a big fan of Microsoft Mahjong.
