Injustice 2, the much-anticipated sequel to the fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us has a brand new trailer. For those unfamiliar, the game features many Super Heroes and Super-Villains from the DC Universe, with a pretty dark storyline:
Injustice 2 continues the story set in motion in Injustice: Gods Among Us as Batman and his allies work towards putting the pieces of society back together, but struggle against those who would restore Superman’s Regime. In the midst of this chaos, a new threat appears that will put Earth’s very existence at risk.
The latest game trailer shows off more DC characters such as Captain Cold, Green Lantern, Green Arrow as well as fan-favorite Harley Quinn. Of course, Batman and Superman both get some screen time, too.
Injustice will be released on the Xbox One on May 16 and the game is already available to preorder on the Xbox Store. Let us know in the comments if this latest trailer makes you excited for the game release.
