Microsoft just recently launched the new Windows 8 Surface tablet during a mystery event in Los Angeles. This tablet has created a lot of hype in the tech industry. During the keynote, we caught glimpse at three new app icons in Windows 8.
During the event, new icons for Windows Store, SkyDrive, and the Sports app were revealed. As you can see in the above image, the Store icon has been modified. The new icon of Store has a windows logo embedded in a bag. The SkyDrive app icon looks cleaner and the Sports app icon also looks better. Presently, Windows 8 is in the Pre-RTM stage and RTM is expected to be compiled sometime in August 2012.
