Music app for Windows 8.1 updated, makes it easier to tell what you can play while offline

Microsoft’s Music app for Windows 8.1 has received a new update, making it a bit easier for you to know what you can play while offline. The update also adds minor fixes and improvements to the app.

“Xbox Music brings you all the music you love in one simple app. Play and manage music from your personal collection and browse and buy songs from Xbox Music. Instantly stream millions of songs free on your Windows 8/Windows RT device. Or get an Xbox Music Pass for unlimited access to music across all your devices,” the app description reads.

The app has been bumped to version 2.2.800.0 and features an improvement while offline. Songs and albums that aren’t on your PC will now appear disabled when you are offline, making it easier to tell what you can play.

Hit the download link below to snag the updated app.

Thanks for the tip, BreVDD!
