MoWeather and unofficial Google Maps app 'GMaps+' receive new app updates

For those of you who use the MoWeather app for Windows Phone 8, along with the unofficial Google Maps app ‘GMaps+’, there are some updates waiting for you in the Windows Phone Store. Both apps are quite popular in the Windows Phone Store and are both available for free.

“Explore new places, discover local favorites, and navigate your world with Google Maps. Voice guided turn-by-turn GPS navigation and more. Now available on Windows Phone with a simple, easy-to-use design. Comprehensive, accurate maps in 200 countries and useful information on over 100 million places worldwide,” the GMaps+ app description reads.

GMaps+ was bumped up to version 9.0.8.0, however no change log was made available. The app update simply features bug fixes and performance improvements.

“MoWeather for Windows Phone is an weather application which supports English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese languages. The weather can have a profound effect on your day-to-day activities and travel plans, both local and abroad. The MoWeather app is a tool that you can take with you wherever you go to help keep you prepared for environmental conditions. In an instant you can have weather details at your fingertips,” the MoWeather app description reads.

MoWeather was bumped to version 1.2.5.0 and features a new Lockscreen and Live tile design, along with an improved update mechanism of the Live tile and Lockscreen data, and three kinds of tiles and six ways to flip. The update also fixes the locating bug and adds improvements to the local weather graph. The app also supports 21 countries and regions.
