Movie Moments gets update in new Windows 8.1 leaked screenshot

A couple of new screenshots from an unknown build of Windows 8.1 has leaked onto the internet today, revealing a few changes to the one of the new Metro apps as well as changes to the desktop Control Panel. The screenshots are from WinClub, who were responsible for two previous Windows 8.1 leaks as well as screenshots.

As mentioned above, the source doesn’t mention what build these screenshots are appearing from. The Movie Moments app seems to have been updated, with more text and buttons which do different functions. The Control Panel also says ‘Add features to Windows 8.1 Preview’, which is also new in this unknown build. Just a reminder, this is a pre-release build and does not represent the final product.

From the leaked screenshot, it seems Movie Moments will be an app that allows you to trim a video of yours to 60 seconds or less and then add effects to it. The app claims that it will ‘add the finishing touches’ before rendering the video, which might mean it does all the editing for you. You just drop in clips, caption them and the app will do the rest.

It is currently unclear if this build is going to leak, however it may be very likely as WinClub seem to have a good track record when it comes to leaking these partner builds. We’ll have more as it happens.
