Mortal Kombat X is now available for pre-order on Xbox One

Mortal Kombat X is now available for pre-order on Xbox One. Mortal Kombat X is available for pre-order for $59.99, or you can grab Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition for $89.99 where you will be able to fight as Goro, and the game bundle also includes the Kombat Pack. The Kombat Pack features new characters, game outfits, and four additional special characters.

The Kombat Pack enables you to fight as four special characters; the first is Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th fame. The other three have yet to be announced. You will also get access to three new outfits; Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok, and Jingu Kitanaas. Owners of the Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition will also get early access to any DLC released in the future.

The Kombat Pack is a worthy addition to what promises to be a great game (if you are a fan of the Mortal Kombat series), but I am not too keen on dropping $89.99 for extra content unless it’s truly worth it. Without knowing who the three other special characters are, I am unlikely to make the jump to the Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition and likely play it safe with the standard edition for $59.99. Check out Mortal Kombat X and the gameplay in the video below.

Mortal Kombat X is available now for pre-order for Xbox One. Both Mortal Kombat X and Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition are available in the download links below for $59.99 and $89.99, respectively.
